Beautiful everyday person garden tulips .. I really need to add these to my front Boulavard.
As I mentioned before I love my city, and watching the flowers come up, is something I enjoy even more. Many people complain that Toronto is a cold city, I don't know -- I think it is what you make it. You can live in a small town and not be connected to anyone.. or live in a big city and feel the same way. Your life is what you make it.. 5% is what happens to you and 95% is your response to it (That's what my my told me anyways) -- so really who is responsible for feeling like they don't belong or that they are not part of the world around them? Beauty can be found anywhere and connection can happen anywhere - you just need to make it happen.. it is not hard to find a smile, even in graffiti people will leave you a message to see as you walk by.
The beauty of how well these trees go together - it is like they were planted to match each other! -- wait - East York was a planned community, so they probably did that on purpose - still pretty.
I also wanted to check in on our the Jar garden - it has started to bloom - the pictures are not the best but I figured you would get the jist of it -- a few entries back I showed you this garden before it blooms - when it is a garden of glass domes. I believe they are actually called Terrariums. I love the large glass vase filled with soil and the small plant on top!
And this tree I see many times a day as I go to Tims at the Hospital across from my work - this picture does it no justice -- it is stunning.. gotta love spring!
