I am just too busy...am I really?

Have you ever caught yourself complaining that you are just to busy to...

1. cook
2. meet a friend
3. call someone
4. spend time with family
5. relax

Life may get busy, but seriously with what is it too busy with? the laundry? work? responsibilities? isn't that just really life, so aren't we just living?

If we choose to be "too busy" for anything, are we not just really saying that something else is more important than what we don't have time to do? and why do we feel we have to explain it away by saying we are busy?

I am only saying this because I have not blogged in a long time and a good friend mentioned she missed it, I was thinking my life has been so busy that is why I have not been blogging. Really it was just more important less self indulgent things arose that I had to take care of. I have missed it.

To bring the blog up to date here is a little diddy ( read to the tune we didn't start the fire - billy joel)

christmas shopping ,crazy days
money spending, crazy ways
burnt cookies, fire alarms
packages falling from my arms
rainy days, doctors to pay
reports say what you think they say
visits here visits there
accepting it's time you bought new underware
toss the couch, buy the chair, install the fireplace - beware
leaning shelf, deliveries,
hong purse is exactly as ordered and I am pleased.
cough, cold, and winter blues... time to take the new meds too.
house cleaning, dead fish... oops I should have said that better too.
New job, New Title , old friends sit for lunch once in awhile
Haircut , blonde and brown
ouch it hurt when I slipped and hit the ground.
Insulin resitence, crap that's new..oh well so the diet will help make me new
school is good, new daycare too.. life is settling for us too.
Busy yes we are for sure.. but really love
that's nothing new.

And the world keeps turning and goes on and on..
