New York City in the fall...

After a week of a sick house, first Emma then Jay and finally me... we ended our week with a pick me up -- Here we come NYC! a quick weekend away in October. Our thanksgiving weeked - Jay and I are off on the Friday and home on the Monday! We are so excitied - and we are doing it differently .... We will spend a romantic bus ride journey over night there and back -- arriving bright and early Saturday morning and leaving late Sunday night.

Having been to New York before, I am going with different eyes this time - I loved the city that never sleeps! The engergy , the people and pretty much every other thing about it. So happy to be going with Jay, this trip is our belated 7th wedding anniversary weekend.(Our 7th???? how did the time go by so fast??? 10 years together? )
and I love to walk and this will be no exception.; Our first date was a Seven hour walk around Toronto. We managed 12 hour walking days in Paris. So this will be a breeze.

We are planning our tenth anniversairy already -- Italy -- that's right we will be walking the streets of Rome, and eating pasta in Tuscany -- told you writing your wishes down helps spure on the dreams! we will have a small vow renewal here, then we will head off as a family for Italy and hoping to throw in a visit with friends in Ireland and maybe a pop over to Scotland to see Nessie!

Can you tell my feet like to land in different places!! So excited and filled with the crisp thoughts of Central Park in Fall...

Now tell me... best coffee? Best bagel? Best Pizza Slice? How knows the streets of New York?

I already have the New York maps on my Itouch!

I'm so jealous! I LOVE visiting a big city--and what a city to choose! Unfortunately, it's been a LONG time since I've been to NYC, and while my parents loved to travel, they were never very adventurous with the food. No matter where we went, they always just found us a nice, safe McDonald's! Now, my husband always plans every road trip around the food and he picks small local places--it's the best way to travel!
Have fun!!!
