Great Wolf Lodge.. 3 kids, 3 friends -- what fun!

Easter weekend for the past three years has become a weekend that I celebrate with my dearest friends.  Of all the long weekends - this weekend is now spent with Darling friend from Sudbury , her amazing sister and her kids. This year -- Great Wolf Lodge.. simply Wow. If you can go - you should -- must love waterparks, and noise. (tee hee -- didn't hear as much as anyone else -- hearing aid pick up this friday ! )

Story time in pajama's , great coffee and treats available -- nothing is outrageous in cost. It was simply wonderful. Saturday was shopping in the States -- good fun, harder with kids then without -- but they all did pretty good for such a car ride full weekend.  The Lodge staff filled the water park with thousands of eggs for all the kids ( side note here -- when they say each child needs only one to claim a gift -- don't fill bags (adults)  full and leave none for the little ones. Not sure what some parents want to teach -- but greed is not a good trait)

I highly suggest a trip to  Great Wolf Lodge. I gave up the ham / Turkey  and all the trimmings  -- and   figured hanging out with good friends, good times and a little bit of road tripping -- car chips and all! -- was a good way to spend one of the few holidays a year we celebrate with those we love. I love my family beyond words - and Thanksgiving and Christmas is theirs -- This long weekend -- this one is all mine , my friends and the kids ..

In life it is hard to find time for everything, and everyone ... but you have to do it, time is a gift we only get so much of .. for me I had a happiness filled weekend.  Now a bath -- and no noise.

Oh and Hubby -- HUGE points -- my backyard is clear for spring planting thanks to the big backyard tiddy up that got done this weekend while the little lady and I were out.... :)
